This webinar, presented by Drs. Mads Dam Lyhne & Niels Moeslund, focuses on two animal models closely resembling clinical situations and includes data collected using simultaneous ventricular pressure and volume data from both ventricles. Two different approaches will be discussed: closed chest instrumentation to evaluate interventions in acute pulmonary embolism and open chest approach in an organ donor setting after circulatory death using ECMO.
Tips and tricks on bi-ventricular pressure-volume instrumentation will be shared, and examples of data presented. Other derived variables will be discussed such as:
